Arnel Pineda is a goldmine and a real singing talent, English speaking skills or no. And anyhow, I also heard a rumor that those who write anti-AP comments either have been jilted in a bad way by a Filipina or were Journey rejects. Sour grapes! Arnel has all of Perry's soul, range and charisma, plus great stage presence and versatility. He can nail Perry note for note, but with that added rock edginess. Neal Schon indeed was a genius for seeing all of these in Arnel via the YouTube videos. Rock on, Arnel!

hey, gang, good stuff. arnel's english? he'll be fine. journey's behind-the-scenes peeps can "script" him. for interviews, he is doing fine and he'll get better. for a filipino high school dropout he's doing great.he spoke english with intoxicated servicemen in olongapo, he spoke uk english in hong kong, and he spoke yuppie english in makati. he'll be fine. and the more he speaks english here in the us he'll get even better. neal is a genius and is the coolest, non-narrow-minded white boy ever. ap and ns are both high school dropouts. that's why ns can identify with ap. they are like this...if you know what i mean. and by the way journey does not need perry.they were probably laughing---i mean all of them---from the guy who makes the coffee to the guys in the band---when ap sang for them. neal probably said, "you know what?let's redo the classics..." slap in the face for that guy in san diego. and the rumor is that people have seen a white man with a limp looking for a beachfront property to buy in the northern part of the philippines---some 8-hour drive north of manila. he wants to audition for the zoo and try to get them out of their small bar gigs. it's only a rumor, of course. hey man, get off you tube! thanks, sini.
